|Seyed Jafar Hosseini Shamoushaki was born on 16 June 1985, in Gorgan, Iran. He is a PhD student at the University of Coimbra. He achieved his Bachelor and Master's Degrees respectively in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, both from Iran.
Working as a researcher in the area of human and robotic dexterous manipulation within the HANDLE European project (For further information on the project, please refer to the corresponding link below the Ongoing Projects list).
He is currently collaborating with the Mobile Robotics Laboratory (MRL) research group within the Institute of Systems and Robotics, as a PhD student. His main research topics focus on probabilistic approaches based on Bayesian theory to model grasping behaviors (For further information on my current research, please refer to the corresponding link below the Ongoing Projects list).
