José Domingos Alves

Activity: Former Collaborator

José Domingos Alves was born on 25 of May of 1987. In 2010, he completed a three year course on Physics (Applied Physics field) at the University of Lisbon - Faculty of Science. In 2012, at the same institution, he completed the Master degree on Physics Engineering, in which the thesis was performed in the area of reconfigurable systems and the works performed in the scope of the Portuguese Collaboration in the ATLAS experiment of CERN, particularly related with the upgrade of the electronic system of that particle detector.

From May of 2012 to October of 2014, he was a technical researcher at LIP (Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas), providing technical and scientific support in LIP activities related to upgrade of the electronics system of detector Tile Calorimeter of the ATLAS experiment of CERN.

At moment, he aims to pursue a Phd on Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Coimbra, in which the research works will be carried out in the field of Bayesian Multimodal Perception at the ISR-UC.
