The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to some more recent models and algorithms for mobile robotic tasks and improvement of their autonomy. This will involve acquiring knowledge on the current state of the art in the field of autonomous robotics and its techniques and development methodologies.

This course is a graduate-level introduction to the mathematical methods used in modeling geometric shapes for use in CAD/CAM, computer graphics, Augmented and Virtual Reality, and so on.

Cooperative Robotic Systems
Provide the students with knowledge about the main research issues of cooperative robotic systems (CRS) and, as well, the advantages and challenges posed by these systems when compared with single-robot systems.
Enable the acquisition of knowledge about the state-of-the-art of CRS and the acquisition of the required competences to develop research work on CRS.
